Help & FAQ

Cannot find what you need? Email us.

Is Warka really free?

Yes. The Free plan stores up to 10 documents forever, with no card required. Pro and Family unlock unlimited documents, the in-app scanner, watermarked shares, templates, and more.

How do I sign in?

With your email. Enter your email address, Warka sends a 6-digit code to your inbox, and you enter it to sign in. No passwords. No phone numbers required.

Are my documents safe?

Yes. All documents are encrypted at rest, served only over private signed URLs (never publicly), and stored on EU servers under strict privacy laws. For your most sensitive papers, the Private Vault adds end-to-end encryption — even Warka cannot read what is inside.

Can I use Warka without internet?

Yes — Warka is offline-first. Scan and view documents without a network connection. Changes sync once you are back online.

Does Warka read my documents automatically?

No. Warka stores your scans exactly as you capture them — we never run OCR or AI over your documents. You enter the title and expiry date yourself, which means nothing ever gets misread and nothing is ever sent to an AI service.

How do expiry reminders work?

When you save a document, enter its expiry date. Warka emails you 90, 60, 30, 14, 7, and 1 day before it expires. You can also set custom reminders on any document.

What happens if I forget my PIN?

Your app-unlock PIN can be reset by signing in with your email again. The Private Vault PIN cannot be reset — that is its whole point. You will see a 12-word recovery phrase during setup that you can keep somewhere safe.

Can my family access my documents if something happens to me?

Yes — set up a Nominee. After a dormancy period of your choice (3 to 24 months) with no activity, Warka begins a verification process with your nominee so they can access the family vault.

Does Warka share my data with anyone?

No. We never sell or share your personal data. Read our Privacy Policy for the full details.

Which languages does Warka support?

English, Urdu (with full right-to-left support and Nastaliq typography), and Roman Urdu.
